The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is taking significant steps to boost tourism in Kaghan Valley by introducing a new chairlift that will connect Naran to Saiful Muluk Lake. Developed through a public-private partnership, this initiative aims to offer a safer, more convenient, and enjoyable alternative to the often challenging and uncomfortable traditional jeep rides.
Moreover, the chairlift will provide tourists with a scenic and relaxed journey, allowing them to fully appreciate the breathtaking beauty of the valley. As of now, the feasibility report is nearing completion. Once finalized, the project will proceed toward the implementation phase, bringing this much-anticipated attraction closer to reality.
In addition to this, the government is actively exploring and improving other tourist destinations across the region. By doing so, it seeks to attract both domestic and international visitors, thereby strengthening the local economy and creating new opportunities for residents.
The planned chairlift will include stations at both Naran and Saiful Muluk Lake, significantly enhancing the overall travel experience for tourists. Ultimately, this project represents a major leap forward in transforming Kaghan Valley into a world-class tourist destination.
